I am a compassionate, lively Social Worker dedicated to serving others with understanding, respect, and grace. I have over 20 years of diverse experience, education, and training in areas ranging from child and family services, healthcare, early childhood education, and aviation. These experiences have cultivated my abilities to provide therapeutic services to equip clients on how to go through life's challenges from a position of strength and not defeat. In addition to professional experiences and education, I too have personal experience of going through life situations that I thought would "never" happen to me. I know I would not have been able to make it through without wise counsel. Because of my own appreciation for someone helping me to heal as well as doing the work to take ownership of my own healing processes, it is my passion to help others do the same. Overcoming life's challenges is possible. Education: Bachelor of Social Work- the University of GeorgiaMaster of Social Work- Clark Atlanta University What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I love having a good time with family and friends. I also like to travel and experiment with DIY projects. Why is access to mental health important? It is crucial to have access to mental health services since mental illness is sometimes fatal for you and/or your loved ones. By using mental health services, you can make an investment in a way of thinking that can improve your general well-being. |
